Transfer workspace ownership

Ownership is not stuck with whoever signed up. An Owner can make another member an Owner, which matters for handoffs and when people move on.

How to transfer

Only an Owner can change ownership. In Settings, change another member's role to Owner. A workspace can have more than one Owner, so you can add an Owner without removing yourself, then step down to Admin or leave once the handoff is done. Billing is an Owner-only area, so make sure at least one Owner remains. See roles and inviting your team.

When you would

The usual reasons are a handoff, when the person who set Veillo up is not the one who will run it, and a founder or owner moving on. Doing it deliberately keeps billing and access with someone who is still around, rather than locked to an account nobody uses.
