Cookie policy
Veillo keeps cookies to the minimum a secure, working product needs. No advertising, no third-party tracking, no selling data.
Last updated 28 May 2026. This is the current version. It reflects how Veillo operates today and is confirmed by counsel before public launch. It is not legal advice.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Similar technologies, like local storage, do much the same job. We use them for a few specific purposes, set out below.
2. Strictly necessary
These keep the product working and secure, and cannot be switched off without breaking it, so they do not need consent:
- Session. Keeps you logged in as you move around the app.
- Security. Protects forms and requests against cross-site attacks.
- Preferences. Remembers basic choices, such as having dismissed a notice.
3. Analytics
Where we measure how the product is used, so we can improve it, we use privacy-respecting analytics hosted in the EU, and we ask for consent where the law requires it. You can decline and keep every feature. We do not build advertising profiles from this.
4. What we do not use
We do not set advertising cookies, we do not embed third-party trackers, and we do not sell or share cookie data with advertisers or data brokers.
5. Managing cookies
Where we ask for consent, you can change your choice at any time. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop parts of the app from working. The launch version of this policy lists each cookie by name, purpose, and lifetime.
to review or change your choice in this browser.
6. Changes
If our cookie use changes, we update this page and, where consent is involved, ask again.
