Roles and inviting your team
Veillo has five roles, from full access down to read-only. Pick the one that matches what a person needs to do, and nothing more.
Updated May 2026
The five roles
- Owner: full access, including billing. There is at least one Owner per workspace.
- Admin: full access except billing. Can manage systems, documents, and members.
- Editor: can edit systems and documents, including confirming and reclassifying, but cannot manage members or billing.
- Reviewer: read-only, and can sign off quarterly reviews. A good fit for someone who oversees the work without changing it.
- Auditor: read-only access for an external auditor. They can see the record but change nothing.
In short: Owners, Admins, and Editors can change things. Owners, Admins, Editors, and Reviewers can sign off a review. Only an Owner touches billing.
Inviting someone
Go to Settings, add the person by email, and choose their role. They get an invitation to join your workspace. You can change a role or remove someone later from the same place. Your plan sets how many users you can have: a single user on Starter, five on Business, and unlimited on Scale. See plans, billing, and upgrading.
Giving an auditor access
To let an external auditor inspect your compliance record, invite them as an Auditor. They get read-only access to the register, documents, and audit log, and cannot change anything or see billing. When the engagement ends, remove them and the access is gone.
Veillo's plans compared, monthly vs annual billing, how to upgrade or downgrade, what happens at your limits, and how EU VAT and invoices work.
What the quarterly review is, the three statements you confirm, who can sign it off, and how it keeps your register honest.
Veillo stores data in the EU by design. Where your data lives, how GDPR and the DPA work, who can see your records, and what we do not do with them.
