Veillo is built by Arbos Folk, a Danish software studio that makes practical tools for regulated, real-world work. Veillo is our answer to the EU AI Act: not a consultancy retainer, not a 200-page PDF, but software that European SMBs can run themselves.
The name comes from the French veiller: to watch over, to keep vigil. Good compliance works the same way. It is steady attention, not a one-time panic. We build the machine that keeps the facts, decisions, and review status visible.
The Act is detailed, but most of what a deployer owes is knowable and repeatable. The hard part is keeping it current as you add tools and the rules phase in. That is the part software is good at, and it is the part Veillo takes off your plate.
Who it’s for
Veillo is for the deployers: the businesses that use AI tools day to day but did not build them. A hotel using AI revenue management. A clinic using AI scheduling. A recruiter using AI screening. You carry real obligations under the Act, and they are very different from the obligations on the companies that built those tools.
Tooling, not legal advice
Veillo manages compliance work products and shows review status where it applies. It does not replace advice from counsel who knows your facts.
A person stays in the loop
The classifier only ever suggests a tier. Every result is human-confirmed, and a high-risk result never auto-confirms.
European operating context
Veillo's server functions are configured for Frankfurt. The security and subprocessor pages state the limits of that boundary and the checks required for the production database.
Honest about what's stubbed
Where content is still pending counsel review, we mark it plainly. We would rather show you the seams than pretend they are not there.
Who’s behind it
Veillo is the Arbos Techne brand of Arbos Folk, based in Denmark. We build with European businesses in mind and publish the live hosting and processor boundaries. Arbos Techne also builds ARA, community software for ecovillages and co-ops, and HILT, a platform for clubs. Veillo is the most regulated of the three, and we hold it to that standard.
