Share a document with your lawyer
Veillo gives your lawyer an organised draft instead of a blank page. Here is how to get a document to them and what to ask.
Updated May 2026
Getting it to them
Export the document to PDF or DOCX and send it. Every generated document carries a footer noting it is a compliance work product, not legal advice, so the context travels with it.
What to ask them
Ask your lawyer to check the template wording against your specific situation, since the templates are general and marked pending counsel review until signed off. The document does the structure and the first draft; their judgment is what makes it right for you. See what "pending counsel review" means.
Or give them access
Rather than emailing files back and forth, you can invite an external adviser as a read-only Auditor, so they see the document and its context in place. See roles and inviting your team.
Veillo is compliance tooling, not a law firm. Even counsel-reviewed content is general reference, not legal advice on your specific situation.
The pending counsel review label explained: what it is, why Veillo shows it honestly, and what you can do with an entry that carries it.
Generate a compliance document from your register: pick a template, choose the system if needed, then edit, export to PDF or DOCX, and keep versions.
