A tool I use is not in the library
The library covers common tools, but it will not have everything, especially niche or in-house systems. You can still add anything in a few seconds.

Add it as a custom system
In step one of the add-systems wizard, type the tool's name in the box at the bottom of the tool list and add it. A custom system works the same as a library tool from there: you give it a name, an optional vendor, and then say what you use it for in step two.
In-house and bespoke systems belong here too. If your team built a model or an automation that makes or supports decisions, add it as a custom system and classify the use.
What happens next
Because a custom tool is not in the counsel-reviewed catalog, there is no pre-reviewed answer to inherit. One of two things happens:
- If what you describe matches a known pattern, Veillo offers an AI-assisted suggestion for the tier. You confirm it before it becomes part of your record.
- If there is not enough to go on, the system stays unclassified until you set a tier yourself. You can always reclassify later.
Either way, the basis for the classification is shown on the system, so it is clear this came from a suggestion rather than reviewed content. See how Veillo classifies a system.
Tell us about it
If a tool is common enough that it should be in the library, tell us. We add frequently requested tools to the catalog and send them for counsel review. Contact us with the tool name and how you use it.
How to build your risk register with the add-systems wizard: pick tools from the library or add your own, then say what you use each one for.
The two ways Veillo decides a risk tier: the counsel-reviewed catalog and AI-assisted suggestions you confirm. Plus the four tiers and why the basis is always shown.
The pending counsel review label explained: what it is, why Veillo shows it honestly, and what you can do with an entry that carries it.
