How regulator updates work
The Act and its guidance keep moving. The Updates feed brings the changes to you and flags the ones that touch your sector and the systems in your register.
Updated May 2026
How the feed works
Open Updates to see curated guidance from the European AI Office and national regulators. Each item carries a severity, so you can tell a minor clarification from something that matters, and the ones that touch your setup are marked Relevant to you.
Guidance on AI used in recruitment
Practical guidance for deployers using AI to screen or rank job applicants, covering oversight and information duties.
Note on transparency labelling
A clarification on how AI-generated content should be labelled under the transparency duties.
What relevant to you means
An update is flagged relevant when it matches both your sector and the kinds of systems in your register. So guidance on recruitment AI is highlighted if you have a recruitment use, and stays in the feed as reference if you do not. The better your register reflects reality, the more accurate this flag is.
When guidance changes
Updates are a prompt, not an automatic edit to your records. When guidance changes something substantive, the affected catalog entries are sent back for counsel review rather than left to drift, and tools that gain materially new capabilities get re-checked. On your side, the quarterly review is the moment to act on what the feed has surfaced. For how classifications are kept honest, see how Veillo classifies a system.
Veillo is compliance tooling, not a law firm. Even counsel-reviewed content is general reference, not legal advice on your specific situation.
How the roadmap derives your duties from your register, how the weighted health score is calculated, and how to work through it.
What the quarterly review is, the three statements you confirm, who can sign it off, and how it keeps your register honest.
The two ways Veillo decides a risk tier: the counsel-reviewed catalog and AI-assisted suggestions you confirm. Plus the four tiers and why the basis is always shown.
